I hope that everyone feels rested and refreshed after the half term holiday.
Please see below for some information regarding the children’s learning this term.
Our topic will continue to be ‘Homes and Castles’ this term. We will be focusing particularly on life in a castle including roles that different people played.
Also our English text this term is a fantastic book called the ‘ Oliver and the Seawigs’ by Philip Reeve and Sarah McIntryre . This will allow the children to engage in their reading and writing.
This Term PE will always be on Mondays and Thursdays , so please ensure your child has their PE kit in school.
I will be conducting the spelling tests on Friday now as this gives the children a full week to practice them at home. Spellings will now be sent home in a homework book so that they will not get lost.
As always, daily reading at home with your child remains vitally important and has a real impact on the children’s learning.
If you have any concerns or issues, then please know that I am always happy to speak to you at the beginning or the end of the day.
Maths learning are Topmarks, Hit the Button and White Rose.
