Northiam Parish Magazine – Sally Welch
I am a lifelong supporter of the school. I grew up in Northiam and have returned in recent years to raise my own family here. I attended Northiam school from 1980 until 1986 and I now have two children of my own attending the school in Year 3. I enjoy being part of the wider village community and noticed that the Parish Magazine did not always include information about the school. I see Northiam School as a key part of our community and so offered to write a monthly article so that other village members could keep up to date with all the latest news.

St Mary’s Church – Rev. R. White takes regular school assemblies, and the school has very close links with the church, making regular visits throughout the year.
The Village Website – Keep up to date with the local community.

Great Dixter – We have worked closely with Great Dixter with the setting up of their education centre. We have benefited from numerous workshops and activities and help with plants for our allotment.
The Royal Horticultural Society – They have been involved in the setting up and development of our allotment and purchasing the green house, which we are very grateful of.
The Woodland Trust – Northiam School benefits from the ancient woodland of the surrounding countryside. We take every opportunity to work with The Woodland Trust in this area of outstanding natural beauty.
