Thursday 24 April 2025 Copper Beech beach comb at Pett Level Children in Copper Beech thoroughly enjoyed their morning walking from Pett to Winchelsea along the beach, collecting shells and sea debris. This is part of our learning around Oceans. The children also engaged in a litter pick to help them to understand hazards of plastic in the ocean. Many thanks to Rye & Community for providing transport for this trip.

Thursday 27 February 2025 Copper Beech Experiment with Friction Copper Beech class carried out experiments to investigate friction in Science. They had great fun testing whether mass affects how far something can travel. Monday 10 February 2025 Copper Beech WW2 Anderson Shelters Some children in Copper Beech class had great fun designing and making models of an Anderson Shelter, as part of their work on World War 2. They even included vegetable gardens to show how people had to grow their own food.

Friday 7 February 2025 Copper Beech met a real Lord! Copper Beech were excited to have a meeting with Lord Man from the House of Lords. They asked him lots of questions about his role and even found out that he has had dinner with the King and is also Leeds Untied fan!

Thursday 17 October 2024 Copper Class Residential - Bowles Copper Beech had an amazing time on their residential at Bowles.
