Chestnut Class First Aid Training

Chestnut Class have had a fantastic week of learning. In French, the children revisited numbers to 10, and in PSHE they explored the local community and the people who help shape it. In English, we began our new warning tale, and in Maths the children worked hard on placing and ordering fractions on a number line.

We were also extremely fortunate to welcome a special visitor this week. Keith joined us to deliver a brilliant First Aid workshop. The children learnt what to do if someone is choking, how defibrillators work, how to use an EpiPen, how to perform CPR, and how to put someone into the recovery position. It was an invaluable and memorable experience for everyone.
