Chestnuts have a Visitor!

Chestnut Class have been incredibly busy and have worked so hard across all areas of their learning the last few weeks.

In Maths, we have continued our unit on mass and capacity, where the children have been exploring and measuring using millilitres and litres. They have enjoyed getting hands-on and developing their understanding through practical activities.

In Writing, the children have successfully published their Hot Writes based on our warning tale unit. We are so proud of the effort they have put into their writing—there have been some fantastic ideas!

In PSHE, we have been learning about needs and wants, particularly when it comes to spending money. The children had some great discussions and showed a thoughtful understanding of making sensible choices.

In RE, we have begun preparing for our Easter Church Service. The children are really enjoying learning their parts, and we look forward to sharing this with you at the service next week.

We were also very lucky to welcome Megan, who led a brilliant workshop on keeping healthy. The children learned about the importance of exercise and how to brush their teeth effectively—a very fun and informative session!

It has truly been a busy and productive week..well done, Chestnut Class!
