Copper Beech Enterprise Day
Copper Beech class has had a challenging week while the Year 6 children have been completing their SATs.
To bring the class back together, they participated in an Enterprise Day, where groups of 4 children were set up as different toy companies. Each company had a budget and had to pay each worker a daily wage (one day was 5 minutes) to make products to sell. They had to buy the resources that they needed to make their toys from their budgets and then had to sell them to make a profit. Some items had to be sold in identical batches.
Each company showed some great teamwork, came up with innovative ideas and made a profit, and thankfully all of them avoided bankruptcy!
The children fully embraced the morning and enjoyed the activity and challenge.
