Copper Beech Explore Pop Art
Last week Copper Beech were creating some fantastic Pop Art/Greek mythological art using themselves as the subject. They turned themselves into Medusa, Cerburus, Cyclops or a centaur and chose the media in which to complete their final pieces. In History we have been looking at the Science and Philosophy of the Ancient Greeks and how we still use some of their ideas today. In English we have been continuing to focus on instructional texts and in Maths we have started a new unit on fractions, Miss Penny's favourite! The focus of R.E. this week has been to think about the ways in which Christians think God is loving and holy and in Computing we have been testing our coded pedometers after attaching them to a battery so that they are mobile! Year 6 children, please keep an eye out for further information about our Shoebox Appeal, launching in November.
