Maple finished Year 1 by going shopping!

Over the last week they have been earning (toy) money to spend in our shop as part of their unit of work about money.  They had to count up how much money they had earned and were all able to choose an item that they could afford and give the correct coins to the shopkeeper.  It was a great opportunity for the children to see how they can use what they learn in in the classroom in real life!
