Oak Class visit Leeds Castle

What a busy week it has been!

On Monday, we went on our class trip to Leeds Castle, and it was a fantastic day — we definitely picked the best day of the week to go. The children took part in a wonderful storytelling session where they had the chance to dress up and act. We discovered some incredible actors and actresses in the making!

After lunch, we enjoyed a guided tour of the castle. It was wonderful to see the children so engaged and confidently sharing what they had already learnt about castles. In English, we have been writing our own non‑chronological reports all about castles

In Science, we learned about food chains, focusing on the roles of a producer and a consumer.

We are looking forward to the final week and rounding off our learning of Castles and Turrets.
