Willow learn about the Little Red Hen
This week in Willow Class, the children have been thoroughly enjoying learning about the story The Little Red Hen during Drawing Club. They listened carefully to the tale, joining in with familiar phrases and discussing the importance of helping others. Inspired by the story, the children created wonderful drawings of the characters and key events, using their imagination to add their own exciting twists. In provision, they have been enthusiastically completing their writing challenges — from writing speech bubbles for the hen to creating signs for the bakery! It has been lovely to see their confidence and enthusiasm for storytelling grow as they proudly share their work with friends and teachers
On Remembrance Day, Willow Class shared their beautiful poppy artwork with the whole school. They also recited a thoughtful poem that explained the meaning behind the poppies, helping everyone reflect on the importance of remembrance.
